Built by people who have worked the radio
We are a small team with a background in coastal radio and maritime distress communication. Between us we have handled distress, urgency and safety traffic, passed on navigational warnings and medical advice to vessels at sea, and trained radio operators and course participants.

Coastal radio operator and qualified teacher, with long experience of maritime distress communication and of developing and delivering radio courses – both online and in the classroom.
Development & Simulation - Kurt Sørenes
Trained ship’s officer with many years at sea and as a coastal radio operator. Designs the course content and builds the VHF simulator.
Why we do this
From the other end of the radio, we know how much a clear, well-structured call matters – and how hard it is to get right if you have never practised it out loud. Radio procedures are learned by doing. Our goal is to let anyone practise real radio calls as often as they need, before the day it counts.
What we are – and what we are not
We provide online training and a simulator. We do not issue radio certificates: official certificates such as the SRC are issued by the maritime authorities after an approved exam.
